Yoga in Nepal Kathmandu :Yoga योग is a Sanskrit word which is understood as a physical activity (spiritual, physical and mental) for a healthy mind and body. It is believed to be originated from the Himalaya in a ancient time. Yoga is broadly illustrated in Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism. There are different types of YOGA practices such as Classic Yoga, Buddhist yoga, Jain Yoga, Tantric Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Raj Yoga etc. There are many masters in Nepal to teach a proper Yoga for Spiritual core, fitness, stress-relief and relaxation. Nowadays Yoga is proved as useful tool to a healthy life and prevention to a life threatening diseases.
The course of Yoga in Nepal Kathmandu:
There are some different courses as per the students requirements. Such as
(I) One-day course: One day Yoga curse is a introductory to the beginners and for those who have short time in Nepal. This will be a morning practice (class) in presence of master. After the breakfast you will join a city tour.
(II) One-week course: One week YOGA course will remain the same as one day course but you will understand more about Yoga and you may be able to do it by yourself at your home. It will be really refreshing and helpful to a healthy and happy life.
(III) Teachers training: Recently we are not offering this course. If you wish to do it, we can talk to our teacher and reply you.
We are located south of Kathmandu (10km from Thamel and 15km from airport) at Kirtipur and just a 10 minute walk to Machhegaun. It is a peace and quiet area with a beautiful view of downtown and Himalayan range in a clear day. The fresh air and dust free environment would be very relaxing to your first arrival. It is very calm place to practice yoga and see Nepalese hospitality at our hotel.
Yogi Prakash has completed his yoga teachers training course from Bihar Yoga University. He is specialized in Tantra and Kundalini yoga. In this last few years Yogi Prakash is been visiting to his Yoga Teaching Y to all Europe, America and Asia. He is very dynamic and knowledgeable master.
Who can join:
All normal person can join yoga except seriously injured, pregnant women, heart problem and very old person. You are advised to consult to your doctor and ask advise whether you can join a yoga class or not. Further, a good experienced master can advise you whether you are okay to take part in yoga or just can do some postures only. If you feel up to it, and your doctor has given you the okay to get moving, a gentle/basic yoga class may be a great way to ease yourself back into physical activity.
For an example, if your wrists are injured, you might still go to class, but skip the poses where you put weight on our hands. Yoga is being proved useful to depression, diabetes, back and neck pain and even cancer recovery. After a great experience of Yoga, we offer other touristic activities like Champadevi hiking, Machhegaun hiking, Nepali cooking training, Yoga tour and trek and other travel related activities.
Champadevi Hiking: This is a complete nature hike with a bird eye view to Kathmandu and Himalaya to the north.
Machhegaun Hiking: This is a hald day hike with view to Kathmandu and Himalaya. At the hill top, there is a peace stupa (under construction).
Nepali Cooking Training: This is an experience of Nepalese food culture and taste a authentic Nepali food with family.
