Beauty Nepal Adventure is a humble trekking and mountaineering company owned and established on 28 August 2008 and run solely by guides and porters. All the staff contribute in their own way and the income is shared directly and equally. The long term aim of the company is to ensure that deserving guides and porters and staff from the hills are not deprived of their benefits and the fair amount of payment by unscrupulous middle men and are not left to the mercy of some uncaring trekkers(who’ve no idea of the harsh reality of the plight of guides and porters) and that no advantages is being taken of them.

The company's primary objective is to create a balanced arrangement where both your safety, comfort, and enjoyment are prioritized, while also providing meaningful employment for the local staff. Your employment of these guides, porters, and support staff directly helps support their families and communities. We take care to select individuals from needy backgrounds, ensuring that the wages they earn are used wisely, rather than wasted on vices like alcohol or gambling. Each year, before the trekking season begins, we make special trips to remote villages in the west and east of Nepal to select the most deserving individuals, based on their financial needs, integrity, cheerfulness, honesty, and friendliness. After the trekking season, we check on the well-being of these staff members and their families, monitoring their progress and making sure they’re being supported.

Our staff members are trained from the ground up, often starting as porters and gradually learning the necessary skills to become full-fledged Gurkhas, trekking cooks, guides, or sirdars (head of trekking teams in the hills or mountains). Some of our staff have formal education, while others have learned only the basics. Regardless of their background, their enthusiasm for learning, their humor, and their cheerfulness in tough situations make them exceptional companions, and many trekkers choose to work with them on subsequent trips. These staff members also gain knowledge and skills they can pass on to other people in their villages, contributing to development in the hills.

Although our staff is insured by TAAN for accidents, trekkers also have a moral responsibility to ensure that the staff are well-fed, properly equipped, and clothed. While most of the staff work for no more than 25 days in a 3-month season, the money they earn must last them until the next trekking season.

By employing our staff, even for short treks, you are directly helping someone in the hills. Your contribution goes towards food, school fees, medical needs, clothes for children, rent, and more. In turn, you’ll feel the satisfaction of knowing that your choice to support our staff is having a positive impact on their lives.

During the trek, your payment for their food, clothing, and gear not only benefits the staff’s welfare but also strengthens the bond between you and them. This creates a sense of mutual responsibility, where the staff will go out of their way to ensure your trek is safe, enjoyable, and memorable. Ultimately, you will know that you’ve done everything possible to support the staff, ensuring the success of your trek.

Beauty Nepal Adventure is an established Trekking agency, based in Pokhara and branch office in Kathmandu; the owner, Bijay Rai is a very experienced trekking guide and he is living with his one wife and three Son, who has made numerous trips in Nepal.
This agency brings a personal touch to your visit in Nepal. Unique is the possibility to visit the family of Bijay Rai in Pokhara, and in this way really meet the friendly local Nepalese people in their own environment, away from the usual tourist trekking routes. An overnight stay is a well recommended option here.

If required, Bijay will book hotels (in any price-class you prefer, from Kathmandu to Pokhara and beyond), travel tickets (either airplane, bus or taxi) and ensure the best lodges during trekking.
