Get detail information of your trekking equipments and gears
If you have booked your trekking or taking interest to trek in Nepal, you must also get detail information about your trekking equipments, beside guides and trip operator.
The requirement of trekking equipments and gears varies with respect to season, weather and height of your trekking destination.
Further, Alpine Asian Treks takes greater concern of its clients and guides when it comes to properly equipped and safe trip requirement. We highly recommend to trek with sufficient trekking equipment to enjoy the trekking and have fun.
Sometime you have to forbid your trekking trips just because of the size of shoes you are wearing or improper gears leading to an accident. We highly recommend checking your gears twice or thrice before you start your trip.
In accordance with the height of the trekking destinations, the requirement of the equipments has been explained under – below 4000m and above 4000m.
1. Below 4,000m
Trekking or running shoes with thick sole (High Tech, North Face, Seluwa or any brand), Camp shoes, few pair of worm Socks.
Warm jacket (feather is better in winter), Jumper or pile jacket, Hiking pants, Waterproof jacket or poncho, Sun hat, woolen cap, Some pair of T shirts, some pairs of underwear and gloves.
Rucksack and duffel bag, Sleeping bag, Water bottle, Flashlight and batteries, battery charger, binocular, little sphere rope, Stick, wastage management bag
Toilet articles and towels, Toilet paper Small knife, some gum, chocolate, biscuit, Sunscreen lotion, lighter, Sun Glass, water purifying tablets, Medical & first-aid kit including headache, stomachache and pain killer., Umbrella, sphere battery, sphere memory card, some salt in rainy season.
2. Above 4,000m
Mountain trekking boots with thick sole, woolen socks Light cotton socks, gaiters, if you are going to passes, you can have Crampons, plastic boot if you are going high passes.
Down jacket, Insulated pants, Wind pants, Windbreaker, Thermal trouser, Thermal underwear Woolen hat, Gloves, Gaiters, pull over, long sleeves, glove, woolen hat, sun hat, some T-Shirts.
Water bottle, Books to read (few), Rucksack and duffel bag, Sleeping bag, Flashlight and batteries, Mattress, little sphere rope, Stick, wastage management bag
Sunglasses, Sun block for lips, Toilet articles and towels, Toilet paper, Small knife, some gum, chocolate, biscuit, lighter, Sun Glass, water purifying tablets, Medical & first-aid kit
